Hello!
I hope everyone has been having a great Spring! We have been doing so many activities that it has been tough to keep everything updated.
We went out with some friends to Funplex After Dark. It was a fun way to check out the park with other adults. My favorite part was being the top scorer in laser tag!
During spring break we were able to see lots of spring flowers in New Jersey. We saw beautiful flowers in a variety of different places. You can read about some of our favorites in: The Best Places to See Springtime Blooms in New Jersey.
In April we were also able to check out the new Edelman Fossil Park & Museum in South Jersey. Read about the site significance and some of the discoveries that were made there. The news of its opening is very exciting in the paleontology world. Lots of fossils have been found here in the past. Since our visit the Quarry Dig has now opened as well. If you purchase an additional ticket for this you can dig at the site as well! Keep your kids occupied while you are there with my worksheet set.
Do you like live music? The New Jersey Porchfests are well underway. I just had fun playing a set at the Moorestown Porch Fest. If you missed the ones that happened so far don’t worry! There are still plenty left this year. If you live in a different place be sure to investigate if there are others near you as well!
Live Nation is also currently having its $30 Ticket to Summer Sale. We were able to get tickets to a concert we wanted to see. They do periodically put more tickets up on the site. The sale is happening in the United States and Canada.
The Italian Job is one of my favorite movies so I was excited to attend this True Brit Full Grit Mini Cooper Test Driving event recently. It is traveling around the U.S. so there may be a location coming up that is near you.
For those of you who live in New Jersey or Pennsylvania I usually put a post about free weekend events on my Facebook page prior to each weekend. There are all kinds of fun things such as group hikes, live music, art events and more! Currently I have a post up about Memorial Day Weekend ideas. If you have not been to the Poseidon Festival in Delaware before I would definitely check it out. There are mermaids, pirates and luau dancers there.
We have done lots more things but I am reaching the length limit for this email. I will tell you all about more cool places in my next two newsletters!
